Reconnecting Families Through Technology

Helping seniors master their iPhones and iPads opens doors to daily video chats with grandchildren, sharing photos instantly, and staying connected to the people they love most—all with patient, judgment-free guidance.

You’re Not Alone in Feeling Overwhelmed

Maybe your phone updated overnight and suddenly everything looks different. Or your daughter set up your iPad, but now you can’t remember how to send a photo. Perhaps you accidentally changed a setting and don’t know how to change it back. These moments can feel frustrating and isolating—but they don’t have to be.

Technology should bring you closer to the people you love, not create another barrier. That’s where I come in.

How I Can Help

I provide in-home, one-on-one tech support designed specifically for women in their 70s and 80s. I come to you, we work at your pace, and I explain everything in plain language—no jargon, no judgment, no rushing.

Here’s what we can work on together:

  • Setting up and using FaceTime so you can see your grandchildren’s faces while you talk
  • Organizing and sharing photos from your phone or iPad
  • Managing your messages and texts with confidence
  • Adjusting settings so your screen is easier to read and your phone works the way you need it to
  • Troubleshooting mysterious error messages or things that “suddenly changed”
  • Recovering forgotten passwords (it happens to everyone!)
  • Learning any feature that would make your daily life easier

My Approach

Every session is tailored to what you want to learn. No pace is too slow, and no question is too small. I’ve helped clients who thought they’d never figure out their devices become confident enough to text their families, share photos, and even help their friends.

I especially love working on family history projects—scanning old photos, organizing digital collections, and helping you preserve precious memories for future generations.

What to Expect

First Visit: We’ll talk about what you’d like to accomplish and what’s been frustrating. Then we’ll work together on whatever matters most to you. Most clients start with one or two specific goals and build from there.

Ongoing Support: Some clients need just one session to solve a specific problem. Others prefer regular visits to continue building their skills and confidence. We’ll figure out what works best for you.

Sessions: $75 per hour, and I’m typically available weekday mornings and early afternoons (9am-2pm).

The Real Goal

Yes, I teach you how to use your iPhone or iPad. But what I’m really helping you do is stay connected to your family, maintain your independence, and feel confident with the technology that’s become such a big part of modern life.

When you can video chat with your grandson, share a photo of your garden with your daughter, or look up a recipe whenever you need it—that’s when technology stops being a source of stress and starts being a genuine help.
